November 2026 Litters
Apexx Akitas has two AKC registered American Akita litters due at the end of November 2026. Puppies from both litters will be ready to go home in mid January 2027 at 8 weeks of age. Each poster shows both parents along with the coat colors that pairing may produce, so families can see roughly what to expect before reserving.
Prosha x Champion Stone
This is the widest color litter of the year. Champion Stone is a dark brindle carrying brown, black, grey, and red, and Prosha is a fawn sire with a confident, steady temperament. Both lines trace to European Grand Champion Joe.
Grand Champion Asa x Blossom
This is the red litter. Grand Champion Asa, the foundation sire of the program, is paired with Blossom, an orange red female with a bountiful coat. Puppies from this litter will be half siblings to Bently through Asa.
The colors shown are what each pairing may produce, not a guarantee. Akita coats can change a great deal from puppy to adult. Champion Astra and Champion Ash both looked very different at 8 weeks than they do today, so I talk every family through each puppy's coat as the litter grows. Ron Durant
What Happens Before 8 Weeks
An Apexx Akitas puppy spends its first 8 weeks in our home in Wantage, New Jersey, following the same development program every litter has received since 2007. Here is what happens between birth at the end of November 2026 and go home day in mid January 2027.
Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction in action. Every Apexx litter goes through both exercises each evening from day 3 to 16.

Day 16 to Week 8
Sounds, Surfaces, Handling, and People
Once their eyes and ears open, puppies are introduced to household sounds, new surfaces, daily handling, car rides, and visitors, so they arrive in their new homes already used to the world around them.

Each puppy goes home with AKC registration paperwork, a written health guarantee, copies of both parents' OFA certifications, and records of its early development, plus lifetime access to me for anything that comes up.
